What You’ll Do:
  • Make thumbnails for shows, full length games and one-off videos across all of our YouTube pages
  • Study what works and what doesn’t on YouTube and implement those learnings in your work
  • Work with our data team so that we have the highest CTR (click through rate) possible
  • A/B test thumbnails across our pages so we can keep getting better
  • Think up unique video ideas that no one’s done before
  • Watch lots of YouTube and stay up to date on what does/doesn’t work
  • Work with our production team to make sure we’re getting all the images/assets we need form all our shoots
  • Work with our content team to workshop ideas, give feedback and more

  • Advanced at Photoshop, particularly around manipulating pictures and screenshots from videos
  • You want to try new things...theres no idea too far out to try
  • Comfy with numbers. We’re gonna be digging into performance, so if you’re scared of data…
  • General understanding of what videos/thumbnails perform well on YouTube
  • Ability to work in teams and on tight deadlines
  • Open to taking feedback and cutting losses when we make a mistake
IMPORTANT! Please include in your application:
  • Submit three thumbnails you’ve made and the associated videos
  • Write up why you want the job
  • Who’s your favorite YouTuber and why?
  • What’s the best thumbnail you’ve ever seen? (can’t use MrBeast)
